A dock station is a separate machine with its own mechanics: the self-empty compressor, the water pump, hoses and valves. It fails independently of the robot, and it needs its own parts.

Common complaints
“It stopped emptying the bin” is usually the compressor or a blocked duct. “It will not fill the robot with water” is the pump or a valve. Both are replaceable on their own.
