Suction turbine (blower)
The suction turbine is the motor and impeller in a sealed housing. It provides the airflow, is the first thing to get loud when its bearing wears, and suffers badly if water or large debris gets inside.

Weak suction is not always the turbine
Filter first, then the duct and the bin gaskets, and only then the motor. A clogged filter steals more airflow than most people expect.
Replacement
It is replaced complete with its housing so the seal stays intact. Swapping the impeller alone is not worth doing.
