Wipe them first

Cliff sensors underneath and the IR windows on the bumper get hazy with dust, and the robot starts behaving oddly on perfectly flat floor. A dry cloth fixes half the cases.

If that did not help

Spinning in circles, reversing for no reason, missing thresholds or refusing to dock — then the sensor or its cable gets replaced. Tell us the model and the symptom and we will point you at the right one.
