Caster / universal wheel
The caster wheel is the small swivel roller that carries the nose of the robot. Hair wraps around its axle, the axle wears oval, and the robot starts hopping and squeaking as it drives.

Clean it first
Most of the time pulling the roller out and cutting the hair off the axle is enough. Replace it when it still binds or wobbles after cleaning.
Small part, visible effect
A worn roller tilts the chassis, which makes the brush and the mop work worse. It costs very little and matters more than it looks.
